How it is controlled
-
Tamper-evident records
Sensitive actions are designed to be recorded in append-only logs that can be independently verified.
-
A second person for money movement
Money movement, rate changes, and default decisions are designed to require a second authorized person.
-
Built to keep running
Each outside system sits behind an interface with a documented manual fallback, so that operations can continue if a vendor is unavailable.
-
Tested continuously
The automated test suite runs against the code every time it changes.
See it working
The loan example on the home page is connected to the platform. Each time the page loads, it asks the platform’s pricing service for the current rate table and Bitcoin price.
Where it stands
The platform is in pre-production. Connections to outside vendors are coded and run in test mode until contracts are signed and the bank is acquired. It has not operated with customer funds, and it has not been independently audited, penetration-tested by a third party, or security-certified. Independent validation is planned before launch, including a third-party penetration test and a code audit of the paths that move money.
Longstone owns the code it wrote. It relies on established third-party vendors for key areas such as the core banking system, compliance, and custody.
